Weekly Superfast Exp from Amb Andaura to Kolkata flagged off

The train will cover a distance of around 1,900 kilometres in approximately 31 hours and 30 minutes, with scheduled stoppages at major stations, including Ambala, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna and Asansol.

Train number 12326 will depart from Amb Andaura every Saturday at 6.10 am and reach Kolkata on Sunday at 2.50 pm. On the return journey, train No. 12325 will leave Kolkata on Thursday at 7.40 am and arrive at Amb Andaura on Friday at 4.55 pm.

The service comprises AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, AC 3-tier Economy and Sleeper Class coaches.

The MP thanked the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister for approving the rail link connecting Himachal Pradesh with Kolkata. He said the new service would boost religious tourism, particularly to significant pilgrimage destinations such as Patna Sahib and Varanasi.

Una MLA Satpal Singh Satti and former MLAs Rajesh Thakur of Gagret and Balbir Singh of Chintpurni were also present at the flag-off ceremony.
