The victim, identified as Chandresh, stated that the argument escalated rapidly before the assailant pulled out a knife, stabbed him in the stomach, and fled the scene. Nearby shopkeepers rushed Chandresh to the Regional Hospital, Kullu, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the spot and launched an investigation. Local traders said, “The police are examining CCTV footage from nearby cameras, which is believed to have captured the assailant.” A manhunt is underway to apprehend the suspect, who remains at large.
