Temperature likely to rise in Himachal Pradesh from today

As per the state’s Meteorological Department, light rain is expected to occur at isolated places in the middle and high hills of the state on May 7, while weather across the state will remain dry from May 8.

As a result, minimum temperatures will very likely rise gradually by 2–4°C, while maximum temperatures will surge by 3–8°C across the state in the next few days, making days warmer. However, the state is set to witness another spell of rain from May 11.

Meanwhile, light rainfall continued to occur in many parts of the state in the past 24 hours. Minimum temperatures across the state were down by 2–7°C, ranging between 1°C and 19°C.

Similarly, maximum temperatures were down by 3–6°C, and ranged between 15°C and 33°C.

The maximum temperature in Shimla was 21.1°C, Dharamsala 25°C, Manali 17.8°C, Kangra 29°C, Mandi 28.6°C, Solan 26°C, Kalpa 17.7°C, Keylong 14.2°C, Kufri 14°C, Sundernagar 30°C, Nahan 28°C, and Bhuntar 28.6°C.

With a minimum temperature of 33°C, Una was the hottest in the state, while Tabo in Lahaul and Spiti district was the coldest with a minimum temperature of 0.8°C.
