SSP, Shimla, Gaurav Singh said that the preliminary investigation revealed that the student was under severe mental stress after failing in the Class XII exams. He added that there had been no foul play in the case and the body did not have any external injury marks.
The SSP said that the postmortem report was awaited and further action would be taken thereafter.
