NCC cadets celebrate World Cycling Day, promoting unity and fitness in Himachal Pradesh

Col GP Singh, Camp Commandant, said that the cyclists travelled through villages including Dungri, Kahrwin, Tarkwari, Sammu Tal, Bassi and Bhoranj. He added that the event was organised for promoting physical fitness, environmental awareness and the use of eco-friendly modes of transport.He said, “Cycling is a sustainable means of transport.” He encouraged young people to adopt cycling as a regular fitness activity. He said the event served as a reminder of the vital role that cycling could play in building a healthier and greener future.
