More than 5K register for motivational speaker Sister Shivani’s programme in Mandi

The event, organised by the Brahma Kumaris, is expected to draw a large audience from Mandi and neighbouring districts. More than 5,000 registrations have already been received, organisers said.

Addressing mediapersons on Monday, BK Sushila said Sister Shivani is widely recognised for inspiring millions of people in India and abroad through her teachings on positive thinking, spiritual empowerment and value-based living.

She added that Sister Shivani has been honoured with the Nari Shakti Puraskar for her contribution to women’s empowerment and social transformation.

According to organisers, the programme will focus on strengthening family and social relationships, managing stress and finding practical solutions to everyday challenges. Cultural performances will begin at 5 pm, followed by the main address at 5.30 pm.

Registration for the event is mandatory, said the organisers during the press conference, adding that to facilitate the participants, two help desks would be set up at the venue for on-the-spot registration and the distribution of free entry passes.

The organisers said that entry would be restricted to individuals aged 12 years and above.

Organisers also announced a three-day rajyoga meditation camp from June 5 to 7 at Brahma Kumaris service centres. The camp will offer participants training and guided practice in rajyoga meditation aimed at promoting inner peace, spiritual strength and positive thinking.

Urging residents of Mandi and nearby areas to participate in large numbers, organisers said the programme would provide an opportunity to gain practical insights into leading a balanced and fulfilling life.
