As per the centre, a yellow warning has been issued for Una, Bilaspur and Solan districts for June 9 and 10, resulting in extensive heat wave conditions in isolated places of these districts.
As a result, minimum temperatures across the state are expected to surge by 2°C to 4°C, while maximum temperatures are expected to rise by 3°C to 5°C. Additionally, the centre has also issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rains across the state on June 11.
Meanwhile, very light precipitation was witnessed in several parts of the state during the last 24 hours, while the weather was mostly dry in the state.
Minimum temperatures across the state were normal and ranged between 5°C and 26°C. However, maximum temperatures across the state surged by 2°C to 5°C and ranged between 19°C and 41°C.
Maximum temperature in Shimla was 27.4°C, Dharamshala 34°C, Manali 27.2°C, Kangra 37°C, Mandi 36.2°C, Sundernagar 36.6°C, Kufri 20.7°C, Kalpa 22.8°C, Keylong 20°C, Nahan 34.6°C, Bhuntar 34.4°C and Chamba 32.8°C.
With 41°C maximum temperatures, Una was the hottest place in the state, while Tabo in Lahaul and Spiti was the coldest as it recorded a 5.2°C minimum temperature.
