चौहान ने बताया कि लगभग 90 प्रतिशत गंदगी संग्रहण का काम उन्होंने पूरे दिन में पूरा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि जब मजदूर हड़ताल पर गए, तो उन्होंने तुरंत मजदूरों को नियुक्त किया ताकि शहर में गंदगी संग्रहण प्रभावित न हो। मेयर ने कहा कि वे सोमवार से गंदगी संग्रहण वाहनों की संख्या बढ़ाने की योजना बना रहे हैं और इसके लिए अधिक मजदूरों की भी नियुक्ति करेंगे।
हड़ताल का प्रभाव
चौहान ने कहा कि रविवार को आराम का दिन होगा, लेकिन यह अभियान तब तक जारी रहेगा जब तक हड़ताल समाप्त नहीं हो जाती। उन्होंने कहा कि यह पहल उनके मेयर के रूप में अपनी जिम्मेदारियों को पूरा करने के लिए की गई है। यह अभियान सोमवार से और तेज किया जाएगा ताकि पूरे शहर में स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित की जा सके। वाहनों को सभी आवासीय क्षेत्रों में गंदगी संग्रहण के लिए भेजा जाएगा। इसके अलावा, दुर्गम क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोगों के लिए एक फोकल पॉइंट बनाया जाएगा ताकि उनके मजदूर गंदगी संग्रहण कर सकें।
चौहान ने हड़ताल पर गए मजदूरों के बारे में बात करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने मजदूरों को आश्वस्त किया है कि उनकी समस्याओं को सुना जाएगा और निगम द्वारा हल किया जाएगा, जिसके लिए जून 4 को एक वार्षिक आम बैठक आयोजित की जाएगी। उन्होंने एसईएचबी सोसायटी के मजदूरों से हड़ताल समाप्त करने और अपनी ड्यूटी फिर से शुरू करने की अपील की।

चौहान ने कहा कि वे शहर की स्वच्छता को लेकर nghiêmे से काम कर रहे हैं और इसके लिए आवश्यक कदम उठा रहे हैं। उन्होंने लोगों से भी अपील की कि वे शहर की स्वच्छता में अपना योगदान दें और गंदगी संग्रहण में सहयोग करें।
