Hans Raj alleged that local resident Chhech Thakur forcibly stopped his vehicle and behaved aggressively and abusively towards him and his driver and threatened to kill them.
The accused also allegedly threatened to blow up his vehicle.
The MLA sought immediate increase in his security cover. He stated that the accused should be held responsible for any untoward incident that may occur with him in the future. The police registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and initiated an investigation into the matter, said Chamba SP Vijay Kumar Saklani.
