Datta brings more than 25 years of extensive experience in education, having held leadership positions at some of India’s most reputed institutions. An alumna of La Martiniere Girls’ College and Isabella Thoburn College, she has served at The Bishop’s School, Pune; Rashtriya Indian Military College; The Lawrence School, Lovedale; Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls Public School; and The Asian School, Dehradun.
She is widely respected for her strong academic leadership, administrative expertise and deep commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development. Her leadership style emphasises clarity of thought, effective communication and the promotion of critical thinking and self-expression among students.

Datta’s academic credentials span English, education, science and journalism. She also holds a distinction in Kathak, an honours diploma in systems management, and a gold medal in journalism.
