Eligibility test
The test notice says who may sit, the papers, and how long the certificate stays valid as printed in that notice. Passing it does not mean a post has been advertised.
Recruitment
JBT, TGT, language teacher and similar posts are advertised separately, often through HPSSC or the education department. That PDF says whether the eligibility certificate is required and which subject combination the degree must show.
Save three things when they exist: the eligibility certificate, the subject on your degree, and the application confirmation for a post that is actually open.
