EMRSST-2027 Corrigendum: What to Check on the Notice

Updated Oct 11, 2026

What a corrigendum actually is
A corrigendum is a correction notice. It is issued when something in an earlier official notification was wrong, unclear, or needed to be changed. It does not replace the original notification on its own; it works alongside it. So when you open this EMRSST-2027 corrigendum, read it as a set of changes to the main selection test notification, not as a fresh announcement.
Which part of the original notice was changed
The most important thing to find is the specific clause, paragraph, or table row the corrigendum refers to. Corrigenda usually name the item being corrected, for example a particular eligibility line, a stage of the test, or a schedule entry. Note that reference down, because that is the only part of the original notice that has changed.
What the corrected text now says
Compare the old wording with the new wording. Sometimes only a word or a number changes; sometimes a whole sentence is rewritten. Read the corrected version carefully and treat it as the operative instruction. If the corrigendum says a previous line stands deleted, do not rely on that deleted line at all.
Whether it affects eligibility or the test process
Check whether the change touches who can appear, what documents are needed, or how the selection test is conducted. If it does, it may affect your own preparation or your application. If the change is only clerical, it may not affect you at all. Either way, confirm this from the notice itself rather than assuming.
Dates and schedules
Corrigenda sometimes shift a date. Do not carry over any date from memory or from an older notice. Read whatever the corrigendum states and, if it is silent on dates, go back to the original notification. This page does not list any dates, because they must be read from the official document.
Fees and other amounts
If a fee or payment instruction appears in the corrigendum, read it exactly as printed. Do not assume an amount from a previous year or from another exam. This page deliberately does not state any fee, because only the official notice is authoritative.
Vacancy or seat numbers
If the corrigendum revises any count of seats or positions, that revised figure is the one to follow. Never rely on a number quoted in a coaching post, a forwarded message, or an older PDF. Confirm the figure on the official notice itself.
Whether the original notice still applies
Most corrigenda say something like "remaining contents of the notice remain unchanged." Look for that line. It tells you that everything not mentioned in the corrigendum still stands as originally published. That saves you from re-reading the whole original notice for changes that were never made.
Who issued it and when
Check the issuing authority and the date printed on the corrigendum. A later corrigendum overrides an earlier one on the same point. If you have saved an older copy, replace it so you are not working from superseded text.
How to verify
Open the official document at https://hpbose.org/Admin/Upload/Corrigendum%20EMRSST-2027-1.pdf and read it in full. Keep the original EMRSST-2027 notification beside it so you can see exactly what changed. If anything is unclear, contact the board through the details given on the official website rather than relying on second-hand summaries.
A caution
This page explains how to read the notice. It does not reproduce its contents and does not state any date, fee, or number. Always confirm every detail on the official website before you act on it.

Not an official government website. Last checked 11 Oct 2026. Confirm dates, fees, and vacancies on the official notice: https://hpbose.org/Admin/Upload/Corrigendum%20EMRSST-2027-1.pdf.
