As per the state’s Meteorological Centre, Himachal is expected to witness dry weather conditions till May 21 due to which minimum temperatures will rise by 2°C to 4°C while maximum temperatures will rise by 2°C to 6°C, resulting in much warmer days. However, the state is expected to witness another spell of rain in the middle and higher hills of the state from May 22.
Meanwhile, weather was mostly dry across the state during the past 24 hours and minimum and maximum temperatures were normal. While minimum temperatures were between the range of 3°C to 25°C, maximum temperatures ranged between 16°C to 38°C.
Maximum temperature in Shimla was 25.4°C, Dharamsala 30°C, Manali 25°C, Solan 31.5°C, Mandi 34°C, Kangra 34.4°C, Chamba 31.4°C, Sundernagar 35.3°C, Nahan 32.4°C, Kalpa 22°C, Una 35.4°C and Keylong 18.3°C.
With 36.4°C maximum temperature, Neri village in Hamirpur was the hottest place in the state and Tabo village in Lahaul and Spiti district was the coldest as it recorded 3.2°C minimum temperature.
