Speaking on the occasion, Agnihotri said the state government was committed to providing quality healthcare to all, including residents of remote rural areas. He said the health infrastructure in the state was being continuously strengthened.
He added that Haroli, which once lacked basic infrastructure, has emerged as a model of development and modernisation.
The Deputy CM said the 100-bed Civil Hospital at the Haroli sub-divisional headquarters now has specialist doctors across key services. Diagnostic facilities such as X-ray and ultrasound are also available for patients.
He said a Community Health Centre building in Beetan village had recently been dedicated to the public at a cost of Rs 3.69 crore and was now functional.
Agnihotri added that a PHC had also been recently dedicated in Kuthar Beet village, while work on another PHC building in Saloh village was progressing at a fast pace.
