हाल ही में SMC सदस्यों का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल मंडी में Deputy Director of Higher Education यशवीर धीमान से मिला और उन्हें स्थिति से अवगत कराया। जबकि अधिकारी ने उन्हें आश्वस्त किया कि मामले पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी, लेकिन समिति ने कार्रवाई के लिए दो सप्ताह की समय सीमा तय की है। मान सिंह ने चेतावनी दी है कि समस्या का समाधान न होने पर स्थिति और भी खराब हो सकती है।
