In his opening remarks, Convener of the seminar and Vice-Chancellor of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, Prof Manoj Dixit, presented the conceptual framework of the theme. He outlined the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 across multiple sectors, including governance, education, environment, social inclusion and economic development.

Delivering the keynote address, Prof RK Mishra of the University of Lucknow provided a critical analysis of the challenges and opportunities in India’s development trajectory. He also stressed the need for coordinated policy approaches to achieve long-term development objectives.

Presiding over the session, Director of IIAS, Prof Himanshu Kumar Chaturvedi, described the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 as a comprehensive national resolve. He said the goal extends beyond economic progress to include cultural consciousness, intellectual traditions and social harmony.
