लाहौल में शिंकुला और बारालाचा पास की ओर जाने वाले पर्यटकों को दरचा और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में रोक दिया गया क्योंकि उच्च पहाड़ियों में बर्फबारी हो रही थी। मनाली के एसडीएम गुंजीत सिंह चीमा ने कहा कि बर्फबारी तेज होने के बाद मरही में पर्यटक वाहनों को रोक दिया गया था। उन्होंने कहा कि रोहतांग पास पर पार्किंग बुनियादी ढांचे का विकास किया जा रहा है और सुविधा पूरी होने के बाद यातायात प्रबंधन में सुधार होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटकों को बॉर्डर रोड्स ऑर्गनाइजेशन द्वारा मार्ग पूरी तरह से बहाल होने के बाद कोकसर की ओर रोहतांग पास से यात्रा करने की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
