The marathon route stretched from HIPA to Baikhalti, offering runners a unique opportunity to compete amidst the picturesque Himalayan landscape.
The event featured three categories, named full marathon, half marathon and 10-km-run.
Shimla’s Krishan Raj Rokaya emerged as the winner of the 42-km-marathon category by clocking an impressive timing of 2.58.11, while Navanya Sharma clinched the women’s title with a timing of 5.37.54.
In the half marathon category, Jatin secured the first position in the men’s section in 1.15.52, whereas Nisha Chandnani finished on top among women by clocking 2.37.25. In the 10-km-run, Anshul claimed first place in the men’s category with a timing of 36.26 while Anamika emerged victorious in the women’s section with a timing of 45.58.
The winners were felicitated by Dr Manish Gupta, head of the department of radiotherapy at Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital after the conclusion of the event.
