The degree is awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, while the curriculum and training are regulated by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT).The total fee for the programme is approximately Rs 3.5 lakh for the entire course duration. Admissions to the degree programme are primarily conducted through the NCHM Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
However, candidates seeking admission against residual vacant seats can directly approach the institute for counselling and guidance.Apart from the degree course, the institute is also inviting applications for several one-and-a-half-year diploma programmes, including Diploma in Food Production, Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery, Diploma in Front Office Operations, Diploma in Housekeeping Operations and Diploma in Food and Beverage Service.Admissions to these diploma courses will be granted on the basis of merit determined by marks obtained in the Class XII examination.The total fee for the Diploma in Food Production and Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery is approximately Rs 82,000, while the fee for the remaining diploma courses is around Rs 62,000.Dhiman said hostel facilities for both boys and girls will be available from the upcoming academic session.
