Barotiwala Fire: Massive Industrial Unit Destroyed, Millions of Rupees Lost

A 15-member team from the Baddi fire station rushed to the spot after receiving information around 4.09 am, along with fire tenders, to douse the fire.The fire, which started in the store room, gutted raw material as well as finished goods besides high-value machines such as automatic plating machines, laser polishing machines, testing equipment, wall mixers, and other equipment.Aggressive firefighting over six hours helped extinguish the blaze, which spread rapidly within minutes due to the presence of inflammable polishing and varnishing material inside the single-storey industrial unit.
