Following the inauguration, the former President participated in a havan-yajna organised on the ashram premises. A large number of devotees and dignitaries present on the occasion also took part in the yajna.Addressing the gathering, the former President emphasised on the deep and inseparable bond between nature and humanity. He said, “We must move forward by respecting nature and establishing harmony with it. Living in the proximity of nature inspires discipline, peace and a balanced life, as nature is a true friend of humankind.”The former President also warned against the consequences of encroaching upon mountains, rivers and streams for short-term gains, stating that such actions ultimately manifest in the form of natural disasters and nature’s fury.
