DC urges residents to use Census self-enumeration portal

Speaking at a workshop today, Rathore said, “Residents can log in at se.census.gov.in. The process takes only a few minutes and will ensure the Census is completed with greater ease, accuracy and speed.”

The DC explained that the district’s Census would be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, running from June 16 to July 15, enumerators would conduct door-to-door visits for house listing and housing enumeration. The actual population enumeration would take place next year.

“This year’s Census is entirely digital, allowing citizens to upload their personal information via computer, laptop, or smartphone. The self-enumeration portal is open from June 1 to June 15, during which heads of households or family members can log in to enter their housing details,” she said.

“Once the data is submitted, a unique ID will be generated,” Rathore explained. “Residents should save this ID on their mobile phones and present it to the enumerators when they visit between June 16 and July 15. This will significantly simplify the enumerators’ task and speed up the entire process.”

The workshop was attended by ADC Abhishek Garg, SDM Sanjit Thakur and officials from various other departments.
