Nurpur police station stands 1st in use of Interoperable Criminal Justice System

The Nurpur police station secured the top position among 20 police stations of the state in the use of the ICJS and rapid digital investigation. Significantly, six of the 20 police stations in Nurpur police district (Nurpur, Indora, Rehan, Jawali, Damtal and Fatehpur) figured on the list. The Sangla police station in Kinnaur district has been ranked at the bottom among the 20 police stations.

In the CCTNS ranking, Nurpur stood second after Shimla among 15 police districts. It secured 41.15 ranking points whereas Shimla police district got 41.12 points. Nurpur police district secured this high position due to timely data entry by the CCTNS and a technical team deployed in the district. It also ensured a completely professional and effective use of the e-evidence and e-summons application under the new criminal laws. Hamirpur police district secured 34.73 points and was ranked 15th.

Nurpur SP Kulbhushan Verma said that the top position had been secured due to dedication and hard work of all police personnel, including the CCTNS team of the district.
