The vehicle’s owner, local resident Sameer Sahtora, had reported the theft by unknown culprits on January 8 last year. Following the complaint, a case was registered under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Nurpur police station.
The police traced the car using technical evidence and have initiated further legal proceedings in this connection.
