A case in this regard was filed on the complaint of Vishal Kundlas of Kolar village. He stated that a dispute had occurred on May 9 between a dumper driver and his father near their house, which is suspected to have led to the attack. On the night of May 11, Vishal and his cousin Praveen were sitting in a shop at their residence when 5–6 masked men arrived in an SUV and allegedly attacked them with sticks and swords. When Vishal’s father rushed to help, he too was assaulted. The injured were admitted to a local hospital and later referred to Dr YS Parmar Government Medical College, Nahan. Their condition is said to be stable. The police have arrested one accused, Deepak, and recovered the vehicle used in the crime. Raids are on to nab others.
