The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the officials present to perform their exam duties with utmost seriousness. He instructed the departments concerned to ensure that arrangements for electricity, drinking water, and adequate seating at all examination centres were completed in time. He added that the services of police personnel would be utilised to ensure security arrangements at the examination centres.
He stated that the examination would be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. The candidates would be permitted to enter the exam hall between 11 am and 1:30 pm and the hall gates would be closed at 1:40 pm before the commencement of the exam. He appealed to all candidates to reach their examination centres on time to avoid any overcrowding at the entry gates.
Vinay Kumar said the installation of CCTV cameras and signal jammers at the examination centres would be ensured. Besides managing all logistical arrangements, all candidates would be video-recorded.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the examination centres had been set up at the Himachal Pradesh Regional Centre (Mohli Khanyara); Government College, Nagrota Bagwan (Centre-2, Ground Floor); Government College, Dharamsala (Centre-2, Old Block); Government College, Nagrota Bagwan (Centre-1, Second Floor); Government College, Dharamsala (Arts Block); Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College, Nagrota; PM-SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Palampur; Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), Dharamsala; PM-SHRI Government Senior Secondary School (Girls), Dharamsala; State Institute of Hotel Management, Dharamsala; College of Agriculture, Palampur; and PM-SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhanala.
