All four occupants were rushed to Pandoh hospital by local authorities and residents in 108 ambulance service. Doctors declared one person dead on arrival, while the remaining three sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment. The deceased has been identified as Ankush Gupta, also known as Manu, aged 32, a resident of Surahi Khadd, in Mandi district. The injured include Santi Devi, 43, Sevki Devi, 51 and Jatin Gupta, 34, also known as Tanu, all natives of Mandi.
Mandi SP Vinod Kumar and said the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Preliminary reports suggest that the vehicle may have lost control, though further details are awaited.
