Deputy Director of Animal Health and Breeding, Keylong, Dr Sudarshan said applications had been invited and scrutinised in accordance with the revised notification issued under the policy. The vacancies pertained to animal dispensaries and sub-divisional veterinary hospitals across the district.

A total of 31 eligible candidates have applied, including five for the Sub-Divisional Veterinary Hospital in Keylong and 26 for the Sub-Divisional Veterinary Hospital in Udaipur. All shortlisted candidates will now undergo a mandatory physical efficiency test.

The test is scheduled to be held on April 23 at 9 am at the Lata Thakur Memorial Stadium in Udaipur. Candidates must report at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time and carry a valid photo identity card. Latecomers will not be permitted to participate.

As per the prescribed criteria, male candidates will be required to complete a 5,000-metre run within 30 minutes, while female candidates must complete a 1,500-metre run within 10 minutes.

Officials said mobile phones will not be allowed inside the test venue and must be kept outside at the candidates’ own risk.
