Directives to Revenue Departments
The Deputy Chief Minister instructed revenue earning departments to coordinate effectively in raising additional resources. The Commercial Taxes department was specifically asked to strengthen its intelligence and enforcement mechanism to achieve desired tax revenues. Officials were also told to intensify efforts to secure representation for the state in the crucial GST fitment committee, which would help safeguard Telangana's interests.
