Examination Details

Students from government schools, private schools, and registered madrasas across Madhya Pradesh participated. According to the department, more than 1.17 lakh Class 5 students and over 1.32 lakh Class 8 students appeared for the re-examinations this year.
Performance Trends
In the main examination, the overall pass percentage for Class 5 was 92.7%, while for Class 8 it was 90.02%. This represents an improvement of nearly 3% over the previous year’s performance. Last year, the board had declared the results on March 28, with pass percentages of 92.70% for Class 5 and 90.02% for Class 8. In 2024, the pass percentages were 75.21% for Class 5 and 73.19% for Class 8. Gender-wise, in the 2024 Class 5 results, 48.3% of girls passed compared to 51.7% of boys. For Class 8 in 2024, 48.4% of girls and 51.6% of boys qualified.
