The protesters, carrying placards and raising slogans, submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner. Sangh president Rajesh Kumar said, 'The cost of production has risen sharply, but milk prices remain stagnant. We are forced to sell milk at rates lower than production costs.'

Farmers from Mandi, Sundernagar, and Jogindernagar tehsils participated in the protest. Many expressed frustration over the lack of government support. 'We have been raising these issues for months, but no action has been taken,' said dairy farmer Suresh Sharma.
