The agreement was signed on June 11, 2026, by TIDCO Chairman Karthikeyan and IN-SPACe Joint Secretary Anupam Anand during the 10th IN-SPACe Industry Connect in Ahmedabad.
Under the agreement, IN-SPACe will provide equipment worth ₹100 crore, while the Tamil Nadu government will provide land and develop infrastructure. The facility, near the proposed Kulasekarapattinam spaceport, is expected to become a major manufacturing hub for launch vehicle components, satellite systems, propulsion systems, avionics, composite structures, and other critical space equipment.
