Disney has officially greenlit a fourth installment in the beloved Cheetah Girls franchise, titled The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen. The film will begin production in South Africa and is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on July 8, 2026. Original stars Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon are returning as Galleria and Chanel, while Sabrina Bryan will make a special appearance as Dorinda. Kiely Williams will not reprise her role as Aqua.

New Generation of Cheetahs

The next generation includes Leah Sava Jeffries (known for Percy Jackson and the Olympians) as Faith, Galleria's daughter; Carmen Sanchez as Dior, Chanel's sister; newcomer Sophie Lennon as Brooklyn; and Kaileen Chang as Ruby. These four young girls will form the new Cheetah Girls group.

Plot Details

According to Disney, the story picks up when Galleria and Chanel, alongside Faith and her three friends, travel to Africa to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, the teen girls test their friendship, find their voice, and discover the true Cheetah spirit as they save the preserve and ultimately take the stage as the new Cheetah Girls.
