CM Sukhu revealed a historic increase in prize money for medal winners in international competitions. Gold medalists in the Olympics, Paralympics, and Winter Olympics will now receive Rs 5 crore. Asian Games gold medalists will get Rs 4 crore, and Commonwealth Games gold medalists will receive Rs 3 crore.
Anti-Drug Appeal
The Chief Minister also appealed to the youth to actively participate in the anti-drug campaign and contribute to building a healthy society. He noted that sports develop discipline, team spirit, and leadership qualities among young people.
