'Since I began my animation journey, my biggest dream was to be part of a feature film. Now to be creating an original story that I have been holding for years, and with Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, a studio whose characters and stories have been a huge part of my life, is truly a dream come true. I’m SO excited to share this fossil fantasy world with everyone!' Medrano said. The film is set outside her 'Hellaverse' and underscores WBPA's commitment to creator-driven voices.
'Bad Fairies': New Voice Cast and Creative Team
Directors Megan Nicole Dong and Olivier Staphylas revealed additional voice cast for 'Bad Fairies,' a punk musical comedy about subversive fairies. Joining Cynthia Erivo and Ncuti Gatwa are:

- James Acaster as Stickers
- Dee Bradley Baker as Groundbeef
The film features original songs by Tony Award-winning duo Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss ('Six: The Musical'), with a score by Isabella 'Machine' Summers (Florence + The Machine). Ian Eisendrath serves as executive music producer. The creative team includes producer Carolyn Soper, editor Sim Evan-Jones, cinematographer James C.J. Williams, and production designers Justin Hutchinson-Chatburn and Mike Redman. Production is underway in London with DNEG Animation as digital partner. 'Bad Fairies' is set for release on May 21, 2027.
