Wandance follows Kaboku Kotani, a high school student who has always gone with the flow, meeting expectations of parents and school. One night, he sees Hikari Wanda, a girl from the hip-hop dance club, dancing alone. He is immediately smitten and joins the club, which is almost entirely girls who are far better than him. The story explores his journey out of his shell and toward freedom.

The manga began serialization in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine in 2019 and is simultaneously published in English on Kodansha's K Manga app. The 15th compiled volume was released in Japan in December 2025, while the 13th volume was released in English in August 2025. A television anime adaptation debuted in Japan in October 2025.
