DC office and secretariat
Orders for Shimla district carry the Deputy Commissioner’s office or a department of the secretariat, plus a number and a date. That PDF is the order. A clip without those three details is not.
ISBT
Long-distance HRTC buses use Shimla ISBT. The ticket from hrtchp.com or the depot board is the departure time for that day.
Exam centres in the city
HPBOSE and HPSSC sometimes allot a Shimla school as a centre. The school address is on the admit card. The result still comes from the board or the commission, not from the district office.
Kalka road and the ridges
Snow and slips on the Kalka–Shimla road and the city ridges are reported by PWD or the district control room for that morning. Check that source before you start.
