The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened registration for Round 2 of NEET PG Counselling 2026. Registration and payment run from today, 6 November, to 11 November 2026.
Round 2 covers 50% All India Quota seats plus deemed university, central university and AFMS seats, for MD, MS and PG Diploma courses, including Post-MBBS DNB and DrNB courses.

Fresh choices are compulsory
Round 1 choices are void. Every candidate who wants a seat in Round 2 must fill fresh choices, even if they had filled choices in Round 1. Round 1 final allotment came out on 24 October, and Round 1 reporting closed on 2 November.
The MCC schedule is tentative, so candidates should confirm every date on the official portal, mcc.nic.in, before acting. The tentative seat matrix is being verified by the institutes this week — no seat count is quoted here because the matrix is not final.
What comes after Round 2
Round 3 registration follows from 26 November 2026, with the result on 4 December. The stray vacancy round result is scheduled for 24 December. The academic session for PG courses begins on 20 November 2026.
One caution from the information bulletin: the security deposit is forfeited if a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 2 or any later round and does not join, or if admission is cancelled for wrong information or missing documents.
