Who can apply
- Education: 10+2 in Science from a recognised Board or University, plus a B.Sc. degree in Medical Technology (Radiology & Imaging / Radio Diagnosis / Radiotherapy / X-Ray), Radiation Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, or an equivalent discipline listed in the official notification.
- Registration: candidates must be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Para Medical Council, Shimla (presently the State Allied Health Care Council, HP).
- Age: 18 to 45 years as on 1 January 2026. Upper age relaxation up to 5 years applies for eligible SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates of Himachal Pradesh, HP government employees and HP ex-servicemen, as applicable.
- Domicile condition: candidates should have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a school or institution in Himachal Pradesh. This condition does not apply to bona fide Himachalis.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 45 percent for General category and 40 percent for SC, ST, OBC and WFF candidates.
Fee and how to apply
The application fee is ₹800 for all categories — ₹100 examination fee plus ₹700 processing fee — payable online by debit card, credit card or net banking. The form correction fee is ₹100.
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the HPRCA portal at hprca.hp.gov.in.
- Select Advertisement No. 15/2026 and Radiographer (Job Trainee), Post Code 26061.
- Fill the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) and pay the fee.
Selected candidates will be engaged as job trainees under the Himachal Pradesh Job Trainee Policy, at a fixed consolidated amount of ₹18,000 per month. Read the full official notification on hprca.hp.gov.in before applying, and do not pay anyone who promises a job in exchange for money.
