The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, has invited online applications for 2,238 teacher posts in government schools across Himachal Pradesh. Salary

Selected candidates will be paid a fixed honorarium of ₹30,000 per month for 10 months in an academic year. This is a fixed honorarium, not a regular pay scale with allowances. Candidates should read the official notification carefully to understand the full service conditions before applying.

Who can apply

Age limit: 18 to 45 years as on 1 January 2026.
Qualification: Candidates must have the prescribed educational qualification for their subject, and must have qualified the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) for the relevant subject. Check the official notification for the exact qualification required for each subject before applying.
Domicile: Candidates should check the domicile and other eligibility conditions in the official advertisement.

Selection process

Selection will be through a computer-based test or written screening test. The test will have 120 multiple-choice questions for 120 marks, to be answered in 90 minutes. No negative marking has been reported for this test, but candidates should confirm the marking scheme in the official notification.
