Anthropic announced Personal Finance in Claude on 5 November 2026 — a new feature that lets the AI assistant answer plain-language questions about your money.
What it does
- Link bank and card accounts via Plaid and ask Claude about balances, spending and bills
- Comes with a dashboard showing your money at a glance
- Read-only — it cannot move money, pay bills, cancel subscriptions, invest, or give investment advice
- Up to 16 bank links, with up to 2 years of transactions
- No ads, no sponsored recommendations, no Anthropic financial products
Who can use it
Beta rollout this week to Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers in the US only. It works on web, desktop, iOS and Android.
The honest caveat
Anthropic’s own warning: “Claude can make mistakes… check important figures with your bank.” It follows similar Plaid-based finance features from ChatGPT (May 2026) and Perplexity (April 2026).
