Apple has ended the Siri AI waitlist. According to Apple’s support page “How to get Siri AI”, updated on 2 November 2026, Siri AI “will begin to download automatically” once you opt in — a waitlist now applies only “during time of high demand”. Previously, every new user was added to a waitlist.
What you need to know
- Siri AI is still in beta, in six languages: English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish
- You need an Apple Intelligence-capable device: iPhone 15 Pro and later, iPhone 16 and later, iPhone Duo or iPhone Air, plus a compatible iPad, Mac, Apple Watch or Vision Pro
- You need iOS 27 (or the matching iPadOS/macOS version)
- The change was spotted by 9to5Mac on 4 November and reported by MacRumors on 5 November
