The selection is through two computer-based tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2), followed by document verification and a medical test. Unlike earlier cycles, there is no typing skill test under CEN 07/2026, even for the two “cum Typist” posts. The CBT 1 date has not been announced.

How to apply

Apply online at rrbapply.gov.in only, by 13 November 2026, 11:59 PM. Candidates must apply to only one RRB — multiple applications, including to different RRBs, can lead to rejection and debarment. A correction window will run from 16 to 25 November 2026, at ₹250 per modification.

This is the undergraduate half of the 2026 NTPC cycle. The graduate posts under CEN 06/2026 (3,548 posts) closed on 6 November 2026, taking the total 2026 NTPC cycle to 5,236 vacancies.
