The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) has declared the revised final result for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts) (As Trainee), Post Code 25001. The result was announced on 6 November 2026, and the merit list is available as a PDF on the official website, hprca.hp.gov.in.
The recruitment is for 425 posts of TGT (Arts) (As Trainee) across the state. The result PDF contains the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates.
What changed from the June result
The original final result was declared on 10 June 2026, when 414 candidates were selected out of the 425 posts. That result was declared subject to the final outcome of CWP No. 14030/2026 and CWP No. 4836/2024, which are sub-judice before the courts, and 2 posts in the General (UR) category remained vacant pending those court decisions.
The revised result replaces the June list. The announcement does not state how many candidates are in the revised list, or the reason for the revision, and it should not be assumed that the 2 vacant UR posts are now filled.
How the selection was made
The selection was based on a Computer Based Screening Test (CBST) held on 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 20 January 2026, followed by document verification. A total of 664 candidates were shortlisted for document verification, held from 16 to 22 April 2026 and on 1 June 2026.
The Commission received 44,155 applications for the post, and 38,220 candidates appeared in the screening test. The requisition to fill the posts came from the Director, Elementary Education, Himachal Pradesh, and the posts were advertised vide Advertisement No. 01/2025 dated 30 May 2025.
