Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag, Jhandutta Division in District Bilaspur, has invited applications for 10 posts of Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose Worker on an honorarium basis. The Engagement Notice 2026 was published on 6 November 2026.
Interested candidates must submit their applications offline to the office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Jhandutta, on or before 5 December 2026 up to 5:00 PM. Only bona fide Himachali candidates are eligible to apply.

Who can apply
Age limit: 18 to 45 years as on 31 October 2026.
Para Pump Operator: Matriculation (10th pass) with a certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic from a recognised ITI or institute. A certificate in these trades under the Government Skill Development Scheme is also accepted.
Para Fitter: Matriculation (10th pass) with an ITI certificate in the Fitter or Plumber trade from a recognised ITI or institute. A certificate under the Government Skill Development Scheme is also accepted.
Multipurpose Worker: Middle standard (8th pass) or its equivalent from a school duly recognised by the State Government.
Experience in the relevant field with IPH, HP PWD, CPWD, public sector undertakings or an outsourcing agency working with HP Jal Shakti Vibhag will be considered. Any experience certificate must be issued by the competent authority, or duly countersigned by the Executive Engineer concerned in the case of an outsourcing agency.
Selection process and how to apply
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted after scrutiny of applications. Separate call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates for a skill test and a physical test. The dates of these tests will be notified separately. No TA or DA will be paid for appearing in the tests.
Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format, neatly typed or handwritten in English or Hindi, along with self-attested copies of all supporting documents. Candidates should mention their phone number, if available, in the application form.
The completed application must reach the Office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Jhandutta, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, by 5 December 2026 up to 5:00 PM. Applications received after the last date, or found incomplete, will be rejected. The department will not be responsible for postal delays.
