The HP Jal Shakti Vibhag Division Solan is inviting applications for part-time/hourly positions of Pump Operator, Para Fitter, and Multipurpose Worker. These roles involve the operation and maintenance of Water Supply and Irrigation Schemes under the Jal Shakti Division, Solan.
Details:
Applications must be submitted in English or Hindi, including a neatly typed or handwritten form along with self-attested copies of relevant documents. The deadline for submission is 03.02.2024, by 4:00 PM, at the office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division, Solan.
Eligibility: Candidates will be selected based on experience and qualifications. The initial merit list will be drawn according to the specified criteria, and the top candidates (at least 3 times the vacancies) will be called for a skill/physical test. Separate call letters will be issued for the test, and candidates should provide their phone number in the application.
Important Points:
- Applications received after the deadline or found incomplete will be rejected.
- No TA/DA will be provided for candidates appearing in the skill and physical tests.

| Para Pump Operator | Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the trade of electrician/wireman/diesel mechanic/pump mechanic/Motor mechanic/Pump Operator cum mechanic from a recognized ITI OR Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the mentioned trades under the skill Development Scheme of the government. |
| Para Fitter | Matriculation (10th) with ITI certificate in the trade of fitter from a recognized ITI OR Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the mentioned trade under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government. |
| Multipurpose Worker | Minimum qualification of Middle (8th) pass and its equivalent from a school duly recognized by the State Government. For other desired qualifications, experience details, and detailed selection criteria, refer to the office of the undersigned or the Notice board of Jal Shakti Division Haroli. |
How to Apply:
If you are eligible and interested, and your age is between 18 and 45 years, you can submit your application on plain paper at the office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Solan, on any working day between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM until 03-02-2024. Please note that applications received after the due date or found incomplete will be rejected without providing any reasons. The department will not be held responsible for any delays in receiving applications for any reasons.
Documents to be attached with the application form:
- Attested/Self-attested copies of:
- Date of birth certificate
- Academic qualification certification
- Bonafide certificate
- A valid certificate of BPL issued by the competent authority.
- Certificate of experience, if any, issued by the competent authority, not later than six months.
- Weightage will be given to candidates with experience in the related field of IPH/HPPWD/CXPPWD/PSUs/an outsourcing agency providing services in HP JSV as per norms.
