Who can apply

  • Education: 10+2 in Science from a recognised board, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (Radiology & Imaging / Radio Diagnosis / Radiation Technology), Medical Imaging Technology, or a related discipline listed in the notification
  • Registration: candidates must be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Para Medical Council, Shimla (now the State Allied Health Care Council, HP)
  • Age limit: 18 to 45 years as on 1 January 2026
  • Himachal condition: candidates must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a school or institution in Himachal Pradesh — this does not apply to Bonafide Himachalis
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for General category and 40% for SC, ST, OBC and WFF candidates

Application fee

All candidates, across categories, pay a total of Rs. 800 — Rs. 100 as examination fee and Rs. 700 as processing fee. Applications are submitted online only, through the official HPRCA website at hprca.hp.gov.in, after completing One Time Registration (OTR).
