The Himachal Pradesh High Court has released the admit cards for the Clerk and Process Server recruitment exams 2026. Candidates who applied can now download their hall tickets from the official recruitment portal, hphcrecruitment.in, using their registration number and login details. The admit card was released on 6 November 2026.

This is a big recruitment. The drive covers 388 posts in the District Judiciary of Himachal Pradesh, announced through Advertisement No. DJ-ADVT./2026 (1) dated 5 August 2026. Applications were open from 10 August to 10 September 2026 and are now closed — this admit card is only for candidates who already applied.

Exam dates

According to the admit-card update, the written exams are scheduled as follows:

  • Process Server exam: 22 November 2026
  • Clerk exam: 29 November 2026

Candidates should confirm the exact date, reporting time and exam centre printed on their own hall ticket, because that is the final word for each candidate.

How to download the admit card

  1. Visit the official recruitment portal hphcrecruitment.in.
  2. Open the admit card download link for the Clerk or Process Server exam.
  3. Enter your registration number and the other login details asked for.
  4. Submit the details — your admit card will appear on the screen.
  5. Download it and take a printout. Keep a copy saved on your phone as well.

If the portal is slow, try again after some time. Do not pay anyone who claims they can download the admit card for you — the download is free on the official portal.

What is printed on the hall ticket

  • Candidate’s name, roll number and registration number
  • Examination name, date, time and centre
  • Candidate’s photograph and signature
  • Important instructions for the exam day

Check every detail as soon as you download it. If your name, photograph or exam centre looks wrong, contact the High Court recruitment cell through the official portal immediately — do not wait until the exam day.

What to carry on exam day

  • A printed copy of the admit card — a phone screenshot may not be accepted.
  • A valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving licence or passport.
  • Reach the centre before the reporting time printed on the hall ticket. Late entry is usually not allowed.
  • Follow all instructions printed on the admit card, including what is not allowed inside the hall.

Selection process

  • Clerk: Screening Test, then Written Test, then Typing Test, then Document Verification. The typing test needs 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi (Kruti Dev-10 font).
  • Process Server: Screening Test, then Written Test, then Evaluation.

What to do now

If you applied for either post, download your admit card today and check your exam centre and timing. The Process Server exam is on 22 November, only about two weeks away, and the Clerk exam follows on 29 November. Use the remaining days for revision and a mock test, and plan your travel to the exam centre in advance — exam-day traffic in Shimla and other district towns can be heavy.
