1. Nationality/ Citizenship

- 18-32 years: Junior Statistical Officer
- 20-30 years: Assistant Section Officer, Sub Inspector
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years
- Defence Personnel disabled in operations: 3 years (8 years for SC/ST)
- Central Govt. Civilian Employees (General/SC/ST): Up to 40/45 years
- Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35/40 years
3. Educational Qualifications
- Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level, or Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as a subject.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as a subject.
- Research Assistant (NHRC): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- All Other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
4. Physical Standards for Specific Posts
Physical standards vary for posts like Inspector (Central Excise/Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector (CBI, NIA, Narcotics Control Bureau). Candidates must meet these requirements including height, chest, and vision standards, which are conducted by respective departments.

- Male Candidates: Height 157.5 cm, Chest 81 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
